We are a traditional, old-school, family owned, jewelry design studio using the latest technology in jewelry-making systems to bring our customers the best of both worlds; classic beauty and high quality craftsmanship.

Who are our designers?

They are the best in the world, they are YOU.  Correct, you know best what you like.  So, why not design your own jewelry?  Marcelo will guide you thru the process as you collect elements of design that appeal to you. He will incorporate those into your unique piece. The final product is something that is done correctly, and will fit you uniquely.

Marcelo Makar, the Master Jeweler directly responsible for the studio design and handcrafting of the Honor First Ring will handle all orders.

He knows what high standards the Honor First Ring must be made at and he will take care of you as if you were walking into his design studio. Marcelo has been the official maker and designer of the ring since its inception in 2004. He saw the project grow from a mere thought to a real work of art.

When Rafael Cano, the original owner of the Honor First Ring Company, first put together this design team, he wanted the very best in design and highest quality in the production process. The Honor First Ring had to be fit for a museum for it is a part of the United States Border Patrol. He commissioned the artistic talents of Border Patrol Artist Timothy Heck and the consulting help of Retired Former Border Patrol Agent Ray Harris and several others from a variety of different time periods. The design brings together various timeless elements known only to Former, Retired, and Current Border Patrol Agents.

The making of the Honor First Ring was approved by the National Border Patrol Museum and has been vetted by members of Headquarters Border Patrol. The ring brings with it a donation to the National Border Patrol Museum.

As we all know, the Museum keeps the History of the Border Patrol alive today through donations made by its many donors and the sale of Border Patrol Memorabilia.
